At Belleview Dental Associates, we use the safest medicines and latest modern medical equipment to help you to stay relaxed throughout the procedure. Generally, our patients stay awake, but some do feel so relaxed they take a short nap while we do the work of a general cleaning, a tooth extraction, or even an implant. When having sedation dental treatment, we require you come with a friend of family member who can drive you home and care for you as you will be a bit groggy. Depending on the procedure, you may be prescribed pain medication.
