Save The Date

It pays to be prepared for your dental appointment. Your dentist’s office will mail out a reminder notice or send an email well before the date of the appointment confirming the day and time. When you get the confirmation mark it on your calendar so you won’t forget.

If this appointment is the first one with a new practice check to make sure that your records have been transferred over from your previous dentist so that your new one will have had plenty of time to become familiar with your history before seeing you.

Allow yourself plenty of time to get to the dentist’s office. There will be forms to fill out and it’s nice to have a few minutes to relax before the appointment gets underway. The health data page on the paperwork will ask about any medications that you are taking so you may want to bring along a copy of the prescription name and dosage.

If you have experienced more than a little nervousness over an upcoming dental appointment in the past don’t hesitate to share this information with your new dentist and hygienist. They’re accustomed to dealing with various levels of anxiety and can discuss the types of sedation that may relieve your stress.

If you are new to Belleview Dental Associates look for the patient registration form on the website which has been put there for your convenience. Call our office.
